What is lagom?
Lagom is a Swedish word that roughly translates to “just right.” It’s a philosophy that focuses on balance, moderation, and appreciation, which ultimately lead to harmony. Meet Jenny
I’m Jenny Chu, CAE, and I’m a certified coach and organizational development consultant. I care deeply about helping people reach their full potential. I believe organizations win when they prioritize their people.
Having spent the majority of my career in small organizations and nonprofits, I’m intimately familiar with the unique challenges and opportunities that come with these types of organizations. I especially enjoy working with small teams, nonprofits, and association professionals.
I received my Bachelor’s degree in English and Journalism from the University of Richmond and my Master’s degree in Organizational Development and Leadership from Saint Joseph’s University. I live in Richmond, Virginia, with my husband, two daughters, and our allotment from the Cat Distribution System.

CAE
The Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential is the marker of a committed association professional who has demonstrated the wide range of knowledge essential to manage an association in today’s challenging environment.
Certified Coach
Coaching designations include: Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, Certified Nonprofit Coach, Certified Personal Development Coach, Certified Communication Coach, and Certified Career Coach.

The Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument (OCAI©) is a validated tool, developed by Robert Quinn and Kim Cameron at the University of Michigan, for assessing organizational culture.
